.cc Sometimes used as an alternative to .com but is actually a country code for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.  Must have at least 3 characters & less than 47, not including the suffix. Some web browsers, email programs & internet applications don't support more than 26 characters. Permitted characters = letters, numbers or a hyphen ("-"), domains can't begin or end with a hyphen or have two hyphens in a row. No spaces are allowed, domains are not case sensitive.
